Ryokan Fushioukaku, Ikeda (Osaka)

The bathhouse was fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor bathing options. I enjoyed the sauna area and the cold dip, which were a refreshing contrast after the warm baths. I also treated myself to a hot stone therapy session, which was a perfect way to unwind after a long day.

The food served was of really good quality! I had the Kobe beef steak dinner, which was exquisite, and the breakfast buffet had a wide selection that catered to both local and western tastes. I especially enjoyed how beautifully each dish was presented.

I stayed in a room that had a private bath on the balcony, which was an absolute treat! The room was spacious and clean, complete with authentic tatami mats and comfortable futons. Despite some signs of age, the overall experience felt very cozy and traditional.

The public bath was incredibly clean, and the temperature was just right for a relaxing soak. I also appreciated having a selection of hygiene products at my disposal; the thoughtful touches added to the overall comfort of my stay. I spent hours relaxing in both the indoor and outdoor baths.
