I had a wonderful time at the hotel, which is just a bit outside of Osaka but easy to reach via public transport. The rooms are spacious with authentic ryokan features, and the food was delicious, especially the kaiseki dinner. However, the service could have been better in terms of communication, and Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby, which was a bit inconvenient.

I spent a lovely day at a hotel that provided a wonderful glimpse into traditional Japan. The onsen experience was a highlight, showcasing beautiful outdoor baths amid serene mountainous scenery. However, the lunch felt a bit overpriced for what we received, and the lack of warmth from the staff took away from a fully enjoyable experience.

The tatami room where we gathered was comfortable, but it felt a bit crowded, especially during peak hours. The views of the peaceful mountain green are stunning.

While the staff were efficient, they sometimes lacked the warm, friendly touch you might expect in such a setting. They were helpful in explaining how to use the onsen facilities, which was nice.

The location on the mountainside is beautiful and offers a true escape from the hustle of the city, although the bath area felt somewhat barren. It's not too far from Osaka, making it easy to get to.

Fushio-Kaku is a wonderful escape that combines traditional Japanese culture with modern comfort. The picturesque setting on a mountainside adds to the charm of the hotel, enhancing my overall experience. I truly enjoyed the spacious rooms equipped with cozy massage chairs and breathtaking views, making my stay both relaxing and enjoyable. While the dining experience is exceptional, serving authentic kaiseki meals, the hot spring facilities, although nice, could benefit from a bit more space during peak times.

Staying at this resort hotel was a truly enriching experience. Nestled in the suburbs of Osaka, it beautifully blends modern comforts with traditional Japanese aesthetics. The on-site onsen offered a relaxing escape, although it can get a bit crowded at times. Dining was outstanding, especially the kaiseki breakfast that had a wonderful variety of flavors. While the location is a bit far from central Osaka, the serene mountain views and tranquil atmosphere definitely make it worthwhile.

I had a wonderful stay at this traditional ryokan, which provided an excellent introduction to Japanese culture. The serene mountain location offered stunning views, and the dining experience was truly exceptional. While the rooms were charming, they felt a bit small and could be a little crowded during peak times, but the unique features made it worth it. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to relax, though a little more privacy in the pools would have been appreciated.
